Engagement Day

On Thursday 15th January 2026, The South Safer Neighbourhood Teams have completed an engagement day,

focusing on their Charter priorities.

West Mercia Police’s Local Policing Charter is built around three central principles: visibility, accessibility and engagement.

Today they have responded to community concerns in Brookside, around vehicles which are not taxed. 5 vehicles have been seized as a result of this. Safer Neighbourhood Teams have also attended Waverley, Woodside to complete hot spot patrols, completing surveys and sign residents up to our free messaging service, Neighbourhood Matters.

The next engagement event will be on Saturday 21st February where the teams will be attending Telford Bridge Retail Park to offer car seat safety advice.
